Data & coverage

6 questions

Twelve European countries: the Netherlands, Sweden, Ukraine, Norway, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Poland, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia. All twelve countries are included on every plan, including Free. The full breakdown — record counts, verified-email counts, phone-number counts — lives on the Data Coverage page.

We aggregate from official company registers and publicly available business information across Europe — combining several sources per country and de-duplicating by official registration number so each company appears exactly once. We deal strictly in business information; we don’t sell consumer data or build profiles from social media.

All twelve countries are rebuilt daily. Emails are checked for deliverability before publishing and re-checked periodically; an address that fails a check is dropped at the next daily rebuild. Revealed emails carry a validation label where one is available, so you can see how much confidence to place in each address.

Every email is independently checked for deliverability before it’s published — addresses that fail the check are not published. After that, emails are re-checked periodically; an address that fails a check is dropped at the next daily rebuild.

Financial data covers revenue, the year-over-year change in revenue, operating profit, profit before tax, net income, employee count and the fiscal year the figures belong to, with several years of history where available. Every label names the line it comes from: where a register publishes total operating revenue rather than net sales (Norway), the figure is labelled that way. Availability varies by country, because what companies must file publicly differs by jurisdiction — Data coverage shows the share of companies with a revenue figure in each country. We never fabricate values; missing fields are left blank.

No. Searching, filtering and previews never use credits — signed in, each search shows up to 5,000 results. You spend a credit when you reveal a record (one credit reveals the email addresses and phone numbers we hold for one company, all at once) or when you export a company for the first time; a company you have already unlocked is free to revisit or export again.

Pricing & credits

6 questions

Free at €0 gives 5 reveals per day with no monthly cap. Paid plans are billed monthly: Starter is €24 a month with 1,000 monthly credits. Professional is €99 a month with 10,000 credits plus saved searches and lists. Business is €249 a month with 50,000 credits, saved searches and lists, and our lowest add-on credit rate. All prices exclude VAT. Every plan — including Free — gets the same twelve-country dataset, emails checked for deliverability before publishing, every search filter and CSV/Excel export (up to 500,000 companies per export; on Free, of the companies you’ve revealed).

Yes. The Free plan gives you 5 reveals per day, no monthly cap, with all twelve countries and emails checked for deliverability before publishing. No credit card is required at signup. Searching never uses credits: each search shows up to 5,000 results when you’re signed in, or 25 without an account.

No. Credits do not expire with time; spending them needs an active plan. Unused credits roll over indefinitely — there is no quarterly burn-down and no end-of-month reset that wipes your balance. The full balance is always shown on your billing page. Refunds, upgrades (the unused credits of the current month are replaced by the new plan’s allowance), account deletion, a chargeback decided against us and termination for breach are the only things that remove credits (Terms §4, §5 and §13).

Your credits stay spendable until the paid period ends, then they freeze. They are not deleted, and they do not expire. The moment you resubscribe on any paid tier — even years later — the frozen balance is restored and is yours to spend. We do not reclaim credits as a retention tactic.

Plans are billed monthly, in advance: each paid month adds your plan’s credit allowance, and the plan renews every month until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your plan until the end of the month you have paid for; unused credits carry over indefinitely.

They stay on your account for as long as you keep it and we operate the service. Revisiting a revealed company is always free — on every plan, even after cancelling — and you see its current details for as long as the company remains in our database (records can be removed, for example after a GDPR removal request). Only new reveals need credits or a free daily slot.

GDPR & compliance

5 questions

Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest — balanced against the rights and freedoms of data subjects through a documented Legitimate Interest Assessment. We process only public business contact data published in official registries and by companies on their own websites (registry filings, imprint pages, official websites). We do not process consumer data, sensitive categories, or anything from social platforms.

Use the data removal form — no account required. Every request is reviewed by our team first. For an email address we then send a confirmation link to that inbox, so nobody can remove someone else’s contact; once you confirm, the address goes on our suppression list and you receive a confirmation email with a case ID. For a phone number, approval puts the number on our phone suppression list. Either way, the email address or phone number is removed at the next daily rebuild and kept out of every rebuild after that. Name removals are handled by our team: write to [email protected]. Requests are completed without undue delay and at the latest within one month, as required by Article 12(3) GDPR.

When an email removal is confirmed, or a phone removal approved, a hash of the address or number goes on a permanent suppression list that every daily rebuild checks automatically, so it is not re-added from any source and you never need to re-submit. Name removals are handled by our team. The suppression lists are hashed and never exposed to customers.

The company database, search index and generated export files are hosted on EU infrastructure (Helsinki, Finland). Company records can still leave the EEA: customers established outside the EEA receive them under the 2021 Standard Contractual Clauses incorporated into our Terms (§7), and some sub-processors — for example network delivery and email verification — may process data outside the EEA. Every vendor, its processing location and its transfer safeguard is listed on our Sub-processors page.

Firmavis is the data controller of the database. When you reveal or export records you use them as an independent data controller, so a processor DPA does not apply to the database itself (see Terms §7). For customers whose procurement requires contractual data-protection terms, no separate addendum is needed. Where you are established outside the EEA, the UK or another country covered by an EU adequacy decision and are not otherwise subject to the GDPR under Article 3, the 2021 Standard Contractual Clauses, Module One (controller-to-controller), are already incorporated into our Terms (§7), and their completed appendix — parties, categories of data, purposes and security measures — is published at firmavis.com/legal/scc-annex. Where Firmavis stores personal data contained in your own account data, we process it only to provide the service.

Account & access

Hit Sign up free in the top-right and create an account with your email address or your Google account — no credit card required. The Free plan gives you 5 reveals per day, all twelve countries, and emails checked for deliverability before publishing. Without an account you can search and see up to 25 results per query, and browse company pages with contact details masked; sign up to see up to 5,000 results per search and to reveal a record.

Free includes every search filter, up to 5,000 results per search, 5 reveals per day with no monthly cap, CSV/Excel export of the companies you’ve revealed, and the same twelve-country dataset everyone else gets. Paid plans start at €24 a month — excl. VAT — with recurring credit allowances (1,000–50,000 credits a month) to reveal and export more companies. The dataset itself is identical across all tiers — there is no premium-data tier hidden behind a paywall.

We don’t accept disposable (throwaway) email addresses, or addresses with a “+” tag such as [email protected]. Sign up with your regular address, or continue with Google. When you verify your email, we send a one-time code to that inbox. If a genuine address is rejected, write to [email protected] and we’ll look into it.

You can sign in with your email address and password, or with your Google account. We don’t offer Microsoft sign-in or SAML single sign-on, and neither is planned at the moment. For extra protection, you can turn on two-step verification with an authenticator app in your profile.

Export & integration

4 questions

CSV and Excel (.xlsx), on every plan. On Free, you can export the companies you’ve already revealed (you get 5 free reveals a day); exporting companies you haven’t revealed uses credits on a paid plan. CSVs are UTF-8 and comma-delimited.

Up to 500,000 companies per export, on every plan. For a bigger selection, narrow your filters and export it in parts. Finished files stay available for 7 days.

Not yet. An API is planned, but we’re not promising a date. If you’d use one, write to [email protected] with your use case — it helps us shape it.

There’s no direct CRM sync. Export to CSV or Excel and bring the file in with your CRM’s standard import — our export columns map cleanly to standard CRM fields, so it’s typically a click-through import. Native CRM integrations are under consideration, with no date set.

Technical

2 questions

Free-text search matches company names — accent-insensitive, anywhere in the name — and switches to registration-code matching when you type a mostly numeric query. Everything else is a filter: country, industry (NACE), legal form, contact availability, employees, revenue and founding date. Filters combine with AND; several values inside one filter combine with OR.

All twelve countries are rebuilt daily. The time of each country’s last successful rebuild is shown on the Data Coverage page.
